Diving in the Red Sea

The most beautiful beaches and preserved corals are located south of the port of Aqaba, towards the border with Saudi Arabia.

The Red Sea is not only known for its relatively high temperature and therefore very pleasant tanning all year round, but also for its rich underwater life, which offers a variety of exotic fish and colorful corals.

Take advantage od Aqaba’s beaches and sea life

Because Aqaba is located on the Red Sea, there are great beaches to visit like the city’s public beach, which is on the south end of the city and easily accessible on foot.

If you do not want to dive into the water, you can spend an hour in a glass-bottomed boat enjoying the view. While in the boat, you can look down and see the coral that the Red Sea is famous for. You can also rent a jet ski or take a tour will even take you close to the Israeli border.

Another great tourist stop is Pharaoh Island, which is available to visit on Sundays. After a guided tour, you can enjoy snorkeling with colorful fishes in the crystal clear water.
